La Rambla (Las Ramblas)

Connecting the Plaça de Catalunya with the city’s old port, La Rambla is one of Barcelona’s most visited thoroughfares. Lining both sides of the street are numerous terraced restaurants from which one can enjoy a cup of the local coffee while watching the many shoppers come and go. La Boquería food market in the middle of La Rambla is the biggest attraction with its buzzing atmosphere and splendid Art Nouveau architecture.
