Like Disney World, the Disney Springs themed shopping and entertainment complex is divided into distinct “neighborhoods,” all inspired by Central Florida’s history of waterfront towns. Also in accordance with the Disney tradition, Disney Springs has been given a backstory complete with an elaborate imagined history. A promenade alongside links the four neighborhoods.
