South Street Seaport marketplace is an indoor market seven days a week and an outdoor farmer’s market on Sundays. All products are sold by local vendors. In addition, there are unexpected but wholly worthwhile activities hosted on-site, such as Look Who’s Cooking classes, which help kids learn their way around a kitchen.
We visit Bowne & Co., which is New York City’s oldest continually running business, printing under the same name since 1775. South Street Seaport can be reached on the C, 2, 3, J, Z, 4, and 5 subway lines
